Nagaland: Governor Bhalla visits Capt Kenguruse Pavilion at Kisama

Governor of Manipur & Nagaland, Ajay Kumar Bhalla visited the Captain Kenguruse Pavilion, established by the Indian Army in memory of Captain Neikezhakuo Kenguruse, Maha Vir Chakra (Posthumous), who made supreme sacrifice during the Kargil War – 1999.
A press release by the PRO & spokesperson, ministry of defence, stated that the pavilion has been dedicated to the people of Nagaland by minister of tourism and higher education, Temjen Inma Along on December 1 during the inauguration ceremony of the Hornbill Festival, 2025.
The pavilion encapsulates the saga of 13 bravehearts of the Indian Army from Nagaland who earned laurels for their state, community and the nation.
The Governor toured the pavilion and appreciated the set-up especially the AI-generated narration of the bravery of the heroes of Nagaland and paid homage to the bravehearts.
Preceding his visit, the pavilion was also visited by Mr KG Kenye, minister for power & parliamentary affairs, and Satinder Kumar Bhalla, secretary, North-Eastern Council. The visitors lauded the gallant contributions to the nation by the brave soldiers of Nagaland and also paid homage to the fallen soldiers of the Indian Army.
