Nagaland Governor calls on PM Modi in New Delhi

DIMAPUR, MAR 24

Nagaland Governor, Nand Kishore Yadav, called on the Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi on Tuesday.
In a social media post, Yadav said “After being appointed as the Governor of Nagaland state, today I paid a courtesy call on the Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji in New Delhi. The Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi Ji was accorded a proud welcome with the traditional Naga shawl of Nagaland.”


According to PRO Lok Bhavan, Yadav also called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh and Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. This was his first courtesy call on the dignitaries following his appointment as the Governor of Nagaland, PRO informed.
During the meetings, the governor conveyed his gratitude and reaffirmed his commitment towards the development, peace and progress of the State.
