Nagaland governor La Ganesan admitted to Chennai hospital

DIMAPUR, AUG 8 (NPN)

Nagaland governor La Ganesan has been admitted to Apollo Hospitals in Chennai after sustaining a head injury in a fall at his residence in T. Nagar on Friday, reports Chennai-based daily DT Next.
The report quoting sources stated that Ganesan collapsed at home and was taken to the emergency department in an unconscious state.
Preliminary assessments indicated the possibility of internal injuries, and he has been admitted for further evaluation and treatment, the report stated.
Further, the report quoting hospital sources stated that a medical team was monitoring his condition closely.
It stated that further updates on his health were expected after detailed diagnostic tests.
Nagaland chief minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio, on behalf of the people of Nagaland, extended prayers and wished La Ganesan for a speedy and full recovery.
“We pray for renewed strength and a swift return to your duties, continuing to guide the State with wisdom,” chief minister said in a social media post.
Tamil Nadu chief minister expressed deep concern over La Ganesan’s hospitalisation and wished him a speedy recovery.
