GPRN/NSCN (U), under the leadership of its president, Gen. (Retd.) M. B. Neokpao Konyak, and ‘Ato Kilonser’, Alezo Venuh, has expressed shock and sorrow at the demise of Kiyeto (Gideon) Yepthomi, Kilonser and member of the CFSB, on January 15. In a condolence note, the MIP of the group stated that late Kiyeto was the son of late Lutoi Yepthomi of Pimla Village, Chümoukedima. His journey in the Naga Nationalist Movement began on January 15, 1995, and from that day he remained unwavering in his commitment, serving the Naga national cause in various capacities with vigour, resilience and devotion until his last breath, MIP said.
The organisation described his demise as an irreparable loss not only to his family, relatives and the Sumi community, but also to the Naga people as a whole. At this moment of grief, GPRN/NSCN (U) offered prayers to the Almighty to grant eternal rest to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family.
