GPRN/NSCN (Unification) has expressed profound and heartfelt condolences on the sudden and untimely demise of deputy kilonser Lunthu Yimkhiung, son of Yanhokiu Yimkhiung of Chessor Village, Shamator, who passed away on the evening of January 26.
According to a MIP report, Late Lunthu Yimkhiung began his journey in the Naga Nationalist Movement in 2011. From that moment onward, he remained steadfast in his allegiance to the cause, serving with dedication, discipline, and unwavering loyalty in various capacities for the Naga national cause until his final breath. His commitment was guided by a strong sense of responsibility, moral conviction, and patriotic duty.
The GPRN/NSCN (Unification) described his passing as an irreparable loss, not only to his family and the Yimkhiung community but to the entire Naga people. They noted that his lifelong dedication, selfless sacrifices, and steadfast commitment to the aspirations of the Naga nation will remain a lasting inspiration for present and future generations. In a statement, GPRN/NSCN (Unification) offered prayers for the departed soul, seeking divine strength and solace for the bereaved family as they endure this immense loss.
