Nagaland: GPRN/NSCN (U) terminates kilonser Hokishe

The GPRN/NSCN (Unification), under the leadership of its president, Gen. (Retd.) M. B. Neokpao Konyak, and Ato kilonser Alezo Venuh, has announced the termination of Hokishe Zhimomi from his position as kilonser with immediate effect.
In a press release issued through its MIP, the GPRN/NSCN (U) stated that Hokishe Zhimomi acted in clear contravention of the Oath of Allegiance sworn before the Government. The release further stated that his conduct constituted a grave violation of party discipline, bringing disrepute to the organisation and seriously undermining the integrity, discipline, and collective trust of the Government.
The decision, the group said, was taken in the interest of preserving the sanctity, security, and discipline of the GPRN/NSCN (U).
According to the press release, Hokishe Zhimomi has been removed from active national service with effect from January 17, 2026. It further stated that his primary membership in the NSCN has ceased and has been rendered null and void with immediate effect, without entitlement to any rights, privileges, or representations. The order, the GPRN/NSCN (U) added, has been issued with full authority and has taken effect immediately.
