The event was graced by Head of Plant at Doyang Hydro Power Station (NEEPCO), Er. Ch. R. John Zeliang, who attended as the special guest. In his speech, he described the pageant as a “journey of self-discovery,” emphasizing that each contestant carried her own story of dreams, challenges, and individuality. He reminded the participants that every woman has the right to embrace her inner and outer beauty, and encouraged them to cultivate confidence and purpose.
Speaking on the theme of “Beauty with Purpose,” Er. Zeliang urged everyone to stand for cleanliness, conservation, and positive transformation within the community. “Do not be a person without opinion or purpose,” he said. “Stand firm on good values and be a voice for positive change.” He also encouraged the winners to serve as ambassadors for progress and inspiration in Wokha.
