Nagaland GSU Chumou celebrates foundation day

DIMAPUR

Gorkha Students’ Union (GSU), Chümoukedima district, celebrated its 3rd foundation day-cum-installation programme for the newly elected office bearers for the tenure 2025–2028 on October 26 at Chümoukedima Town.
Meanwhile, the union has elected a new office bearers for the 2025–2028 term with Ajay Thapa (Singrijan) as president; Ajay Sharma (Singrijan) as vice president; Vishal Rana (Chümoukedima Town) as general secretary along with six executive members.
According to GSU president Ajay Thapa, the programme was graced by Tezu Pradhan, head GB of Singrijan and Khopanala Village; John Thakuri, ANGSU president, and Gopal Lama, president CDGU who delivered the exhortation and farewell message.
Outgoing president Jacob Sundas shared insights on his journey and experiences during his tenure, while the newly elected president Ajay Thapa pledged to work for the welfare and upliftment of the society. Several dignitaries and leaders also addressed the gathering.
