Gorkha Students’ Union Chümoukedima District (GSUCD) celebrated its 2nd foundation day on November 8 at its union Office Singrijan Village, Chümoukedima district.
The event featured a brief formal program with Commanding Officer of 22 Assam Rifles, Ghaspani Battalion, Colonel Kartik Thapa as the special invitee. In his speech, he emphasized the sacrifices of Gorkha Jawans and urged the audience to stay self-motivated and contribute to the community.
The program was chaired by president of Gorkha Students’ Union Chümoukedima District, Jacob Sundas, welcome address by head GB of Singrijan and Khopanala Village, Tezu Pradhan and exhortation by general secretary Dimapur District Gorkha Indigenous Forum, Deepak Chettri.
