Nagaland: Handicraft exhibition underway in Dimapur

A handicraft exhibition, organised by Nagaland Handloom & Handicrafts Development Corporation and sponsored by office of the development commissioner (Handicrafts), ministry of Textiles, New Delhi, was inaugurated by Retd. principal director, Health & Family Welfare, Dr. Sukhato A Sema on Wednesday at Urban Haat, Dimapur.
In a press release, NHHDC Ltd. stated that altogether, 50 participants from Assam, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and various districts under Nagaland are exhibiting varieties of handcrafted products.
NHHDC informed that the objective of the exhibition was to develop and promote marketing channels in domestic and export markets, and also bring linkage between the two in a holistic and integrated manner.
The exhibition will culminate on November 1.
