Nagaland: Hands-on training prog scheduledin Wokha

A hands-on training programme will be conducted on February 17, 2026, at 10:30 a.m. in the Deputy Commissioner’s Conference Hall, Wokha, as part of the ongoing cluster development activities in collaboration with CSIR-NEIST, Jorhat, Assam.
According to a DIPR report, the training will focus on two key themes: Medicinal, aromatic and floriculture crops—scientific plantation, post-harvest management, and handholding support and Beekeeping (apiculture)—scientific farming practices, post-harvest management, and allied activities.
Following the sessions, quality planting materials will be distributed to selected farmers and beneficiaries. Officials, farmers, entrepreneurs, and beneficiaries have been requested to attend the programme.
The initiative seeks to promote scientific farming practices, enhance productivity, and provide practical support to local farmers under the cluster development programme.
