Nagaland: Hornbill Festival logs 1.38 lakh visitors since day-1

DIMAPUR, DEC 7 (NPN)

The 26th Hornbill Festival at Naga Heritage Village, Kisama, has recorded 1,38,590 visitors since its opening on December 1, officials said on Sunday. According to data issued by Economics & Statistics officer Sedevizo Ziephru, the festival registered 24,923 visitors on December 7, comprising 186 foreign tourists, 6,822 domestic tourists and 17,915 local visitors.
From December 1 to 4, the festival recorded 1,831 foreign tourists, 35,459 domestic tourists and 1,01,300 local visitors, the official added.
