DIMAPUR

Dr. Imkongliba Memorial District Hospital (IMDH), Mokokchung in collaboration with Eagle Crest Training Academy and Consultancy (ECTAAC), Dimapur, conducted a two-day hospitality workshop on November 11 and 12, 2025 at the hospital’s Multipurpose Hall under the theme “United In Purpose, Caring Beyond Duty.”
The workshop, first of its kind in a government healthcare facility in Nagaland, aimed at enhancing patient-centred care, strengthening team unity, and improving workplace efficiency. It focused on reducing patient conflicts and litigation risks by fostering better communication, empathy and teamwork among hospital staff.
Medical Superintendent, Dr. Ademla Tinu, in her keynote address, highlighted the importance of addressing communication gaps in healthcare settings. “This workshop is not just about polishing speaking skills but transforming how healthcare workers interact at every level,” she stated. She emphasized that investing in staff communication and teamwork directly contributes to patient wellbeing and recovery.
Operations Head & HR, ECTAAC, Allin Awomi, lauded IMDH for initiating the programme and acknowledged its significance in setting a precedent for government healthcare institutions in the state.
