DIMAPUR

Imtichoba Chang, MLA, inaugurated the Government High School, Tuensang Village on Tuesday, marking a historic milestone for the community.
According to a DIPR report, speaking at the inaugural function, Imtichoba expressed gratitude to chief minister Dr. Neiphiu Rio, advisor for School Education, Commissioner & Secretary, School Education, District Administration Tuensang, DEO Tuensang, SMC, and Tuensang Village Council for their collective support in upgrading the school from Middle to High level. He noted that after 57 years of establishment, the government has finally responded to the long-standing prayers of the people.
He urged the Village Council to take ownership of the institution and act as guardians for students and teachers, especially those from other villages. He encouraged teachers to be “beacons of hope,” guiding students to excel and bring laurels to the school while competing with other government schools in the district.
