Nagaland JCC keeps proposed ‘tool down’ strike on hold

DIMAPUR, OCT 24 (NPN)

Joint Coordination Committee (JCC) on IAS induction (CANSSEA, FONSESA, NIDA, NSSA & NF&ASA) Friday informed that the proposed “tools down” strike scheduled to commence from October 27, 2025 has been kept on hold.
In a circular, JCC media cell informed that the decision was taken after the meeting with the Nagaland chief secretary and that in consideration of the expected decision to be taken up at the Cabinet on the matter of selection of non-SCS officers into the IAS. JCC, however, maintained that the ongoing “pen down” strike would continue till their demands were met.
Meanwhile, JCC has requested All Nagaland Government Drivers’ Association, Nagaland Civil Secretariat Drivers’ Association, All Nagaland Directorate & District Government Drivers’ Union and the Nagaland Civil Secretariat Grade-IV Staff Employees Association to keep on hold any preparations for “tools down” strike till further instructions.
