Nagaland joins India business delegation to Cambodia

DIMAPUR

A five-member team from Nagaland took part in the ICC Indian Business delegation to Phnom Penh, Cambodia, from June 15 to 18.
According to DIPR report, the state team was led by director of Industries and Commerce, P. Tokugha Sema, along with additional director Er. Y. Lipongse Thongtsar, deputy director Yawelie Noudi, and two representatives from the Business Association of Nagas (BAN)—T. Mongkhum Jamir, president, and Benthungo Kithan.
The delegation, led by ICC director general Dr. Rajeev Singh Tyagi, included officials from the ICC, Uttar Pradesh government, and businesses across sectors such as agriculture, fertilizers, food processing, dairy, health, and IT. The business meet was organised by ICC with support from the Indian Embassy in Cambodia.
The inaugural B2B session was graced by Dr. Sok Siphana, senior minister in the Royal Government of Cambodia, and attended by key organisations including the Cambodia Chamber of Commerce, CWEA, COA, and the Indian Business Chamber in Cambodia.
The visit aimed to strengthen India-Cambodia economic ties and promote new partnerships.
The Nagaland team also held meetings with officials from Cambodia’s Ministry of Agriculture, Ministry of Commerce, the Cambodian Investment Board, and Indian Ambassador Vanlalvawna Bawitlung.
