Nagaland Judo Association to participate at Northeast Japan Caravan

DIMAPUR, MAR 1 (NPN):

The Nagaland Judo Association (NJA) has announced its participation in the upcoming Northeast Japan Caravan 2025–2026, scheduled for March 7 and 8, at the State Academy Hall, Kohima.
As part of the programme, the NJA will present a Judo demonstration, highlighting the skills and discipline of its athletes.
The association will be represented by a 14-member team of Judokas, comprising 8 male and 6 female participants, all from the NJA Headquarters in Mokokchung.
To oversee and support the athletes, the NJA has deputed vice president Rongsentoshi Jamir, general secretary Somnath Chakraborty, member Alemyanger Jamir, member Tsaliese Rongsen and technical instructor Suradip Basak.
The NJA stated that its involvement aims to promote the sport of Judo in Nagaland while providing its students with valuable exposure and an opportunity to demonstrate their skills before the public.
