Kohima District Athletics Association (KDAA) would organize the “Kids Athletics Day” on May 7, 2024 at Secretariat Junction, Kohima on the ‘Theme; world mile challenge’.
In a press release, KDAA general secretary Leketoulie Liezietsu stated that the association took the decision as per the directive from Nagaland Athletics at a meeting held on April 20, 2024 presided by KDAA president Thepfungunyu Solo.
The association informed that “Kids Athletics Day” was being organised with the objective to promote athletics’ values and encourage participation among young people. KDAA stated that “Kids Athletics Day” would focus on the physical activity, health and wellbeing of all ages and backgrounds. It informed that there would be three categories: 4 to 7 years, 8 to 11 years & 12 to 14 years, with entry fee of be Rs.100.
