Nagaland: Kenye convenes legislators’ meetings

Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, KG Kenye, has convened legislators’ meetings on February 28 in view of the forthcoming 8th Session of the Fourteenth Nagaland Legislative Assembly, which has been summoned from March 2, 2026 onwards.
According to DIPR, Kenye informed that the traditional meeting of all 60 legislators of the 14th House, usually held on the eve of the first day of the session, has been preponed to February 28 at 12 noon at the Chief Minister’s Residential Complex, Kohima, since March 1 falls on a Sunday. All members of the House have been requested to attend the meeting as desired by the Leader of the House.
In a separate notification, Kenye also convened the meeting of the NPF Legislators’ Party on the same day at 11 a.m. at the Chief Minister’s Residential Complex. The meeting, which is traditionally held on the eve of the session, has likewise been preponed.
All members of the NPF Legislators’ Party have been requested to attend positively as desired by the Leader of the Party.
