Nagaland Kiphire prepares for Union Finance Minister’s visit

DIMAPUR

In view of the proposed visit of Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to Kiphire Aspirational District, Deputy Commissioner Temsuwati Longkumer convened a coordination meeting at the DC’s Conference Hall, Kiphire, on November 3.
According to DIPR report, during the meeting, the DC briefed officials on the latest itinerary, confirming that the Union Minister will be in Kiphire for a 48-hour visit on November 13 and 14, 2025. He directed all concerned departments to remain prepared with updated data on government schemes and projects implemented for public welfare. Departments were also reminded to be ready for presentations and interactions during the visit. Various committees have been constituted to oversee and execute preparatory arrangements to ensure a smooth and successful programme.
