Nagaland: KV Rangapahar Cantt celebrates 63rd foundation day

DIMAPUR

Kendriya Vidyalaya Rangapahar Cantt celebrated its 63rd KVS Foundation Day and annual day 2025–26 on December 15 at the school campus.
The cultural segment showcased India’s diversity through melodious and vibrant performances, including the KVS song, Bihu dance of Assam, tribal Naga dance, Manipuri folk dance, a mythological enactment of Mahishasura Vadha, self-defence demonstrations, and a mime show. Primary students added colour with presentations on flagship programmes, traditional attire, and career prospects.
An award distribution ceremony was held to honour students for excellence in academics, sports and co-curricular activities. The chief guest appreciated the efforts of students, teachers and encouraged learners to strive for holistic development.
The programme began with the welcome of chief guest Brigadier Vivek Tripathi, VSM, BGS (Info Sys), HQ 3 Corps, and the ceremonial lamp lighting. Principal (I/c) Vimal Kumar presented the annual report, highlighting academic progress and achievements.
The celebration concluded with a visit to the students’ expositions, Bal Mela, where learners displayed creativity, innovation, and teamwork through thoughtfully curated exhibits.
