KVYO prepares for ‘Hornbill Carnival Parade’

Kohima Village Youth Organisation (KVYO) has begun preparing for a stirring ‘Hornbill Carnival Parade’ on the theme “Heralding Diversity”, which would be held on December 7 at 6pm from Dzüyiekese to Razhü Point Kohima.

The parade is being organised in association with directorate of tourism and Kohima Chamber of Commerce & Industry as a segment of the 25th edition of the Hornbill Festival.


It will be a feature march of various segments representing the 18 Naga tribe contingents and neighbouring states, Cosplay Artists, Pageant winners, Band Troops, Public Carriers, Mascots and more. Various contingents and their demographics will be presented by Menguseii Suokhrie as the anchor, also featuring Colored Keys.
