Nagaland: LCD Elite holds awareness program on digital disorders

DIMAPUR

Lions Club of Dimapur Elite (LCD Elite) conducted an awareness programme on current problems under the banner of “One District One Activity” at Livingstone International Foundation School on February 3. The event was graced by the school’s principal, Annie.
The project was headed by chairperson Maya Jain and carried out under the leadership of president Meena Sethi.
Two pressing topics were addressed during the programme—Digital Lifestyle Disorders and Exam Anxiety. The session on digital disorders was delivered by Er. Rishav Sethi, software engineer and CEO of NITI Nagaland, who highlighted the adverse effects of excessive screen usage on physical and mental health. The session on exam anxiety was conducted by Rashi Jain, counselling psychologist, corporate trainer, and founder of Mind Shift, who spoke on emotional well-being and effective stress management techniques.
Both sessions were interactive and insightful, keeping in mind the challenges faced by students today.
The programme was well received and appreciated by students, teachers, and the school management. LCD Elite reaffirmed its commitment to continue meaningful awareness initiatives for the welfare of society.
