Nagaland LMHSS Wokha wins Inter-School U-16 Cricket tourney

Libemo Memorial Higher Secondary School (LMHSS), Wokha, emerged as champions of the Inter-School (U-16 Boys) Cricket Tournament 2025–26, held from October 27 to 29 at Wokha Village local ground. The tournament was organized by the Wokha District Cricket Association (WDCA) under the aegis of the Nagaland Cricket Association.
In a thrilling final match, LMHSS defeated Don Bosco Higher Secondary School (DBHSS), Wokha, by a convincing margin. Batting first, LMHSS posted a total of 98 runs all out in their allotted 20 overs. Their bowlers then delivered a dominant performance, dismissing DBHSS for just 48 runs in 13.2 overs to seal the victory.
The final was graced by former WDCA official Rhanthungo Kikon as the guest of honor, who witnessed the spirited competition and commended the young players for their enthusiasm and sportsmanship.
WDCA expressed heartfelt gratitude to all individuals and organizations who contributed to the successful conduct of the tournament. The association acknowledged the support received from the community, schools, and cricket enthusiasts, which helped make the event a grand success.
