The Nagaland Basketball Association (NBA) has announced that the state men’s basketball team will participate in the 5th 3×3 National Basketball Championship for Men and Women, scheduled to be held in Delhi from January 29 to 31.
This year’s squad reflects the youthful energy and future vision of Nagaland basketball. Selected with long-term development in mind, the team embodies both talent and determination, ready to showcase their skills on the national stage.
The four-member squad includes: Keneitseizo Belho (Captain), Cuwe Mero (Vice Captain), Sedeneituo Kuotsu, Theyieneilhou Rutsa.
Led by captain Keneitseizo Belho and vice-captain Cuwe Mero, the team is poised to bring Nagaland’s competitive spirit and resilience to Delhi. The contingent will depart from Dimapur on the morning of January 27.
Honorary Secretary of the Nagaland Basketball Association, Sentiningsang Longkumer, expressed confidence in the team’s potential. “This young and capable team represents the future of Nagaland basketball. Their participation in the 5th 3×3 National Championship is not just about competition, but about building a legacy of excellence, resilience, and pride for our state,” he said.
The 3×3 format, recognised globally for its fast-paced and dynamic style, has been gaining popularity across India.
