More organizations and CSOs have continued to condemn the murder of a 22-year-old woman at Kohima on October 24.
Kohima District Football Association: The Kohima District Football Association (KDFA) has expressed shock and anguish at the brutal murder of a young and promising basketball player and resident of Old Ministers’ Hill, Kohima, on the night of October 24.
The KDFA stated that it vehemently condemned the heinous and senseless act of violence and extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and loved ones and said it stands in solidarity with them and pray for strength, comfort, and healing.
The KDFA also urged the law-enforcing agencies to expedite the ongoing investigation and ensure that justice is served swiftly and decisively while appreciating the Nagaland State Commission for Women (NSCW) for taking suo motu cognisance of the case. Jakhama Gazetted Officers’ Krotho (JGOK): The Jakhama Gazetted Officers’ Krotho (JGOK) vehemently condemned the brutal and heinous act of murder a 22-year-old woman at Kohima on October 24. It said it stands in solidarity with the bereaved family and prayed for comfort and solace.
The JGOK further urged the law enforcing agencies and the state government to expedite the investigation with urgency to identify and apprehend the perpetrator.
Northern Angami Public Organisation (NAPO): The Northern Angami Public Organization (NAPO) has strongly condemned the murder of a 22-year-old woman on the October 25, 2025 and urged the law enforcing agencies to investigate and bring the perpetrators to justice under the harshest laws.
A press release by NAPO president Keduo-o Zumu and general secretary Neidilhou Suohu also extended its deepest condolences to the bereaved family.
