Team Nagaland bagged five medals in the recently concluded Muaythai National Championship 2023 held at EVP Film City Chennai, Tamil Nadu from May 26 to 31. According to All Nagaland Amateur Muaythai Association (ANAMA), the team won four silver and a bronze medal. The team was led by Hemavi Ayemi as coach.
The silver medals were won by Kambo Yeptho in 54kg, Imtiramok Amri 60 kg, Aboto Ayemi 57 kg)(Pro) and Yoto Chizo 67 (Pro) and bronze medal by Sentizungla Ozukum 48 kg.
