The Medziphema Village Youth Organisation (MVYO) organised its Annual Wrestling Meet at Medziphema village on January 5, 2026, with wrestlers competing in senior and under-15 categories.
In the senior category, Rokosekho Tsükrü emerged as the champion of the meet. Medoselhou Kuotsu secured the second position, while Visatuo Niphi and Ruopfüzhalie Dolie finished third and fourth respectively.
In the under-15 category, Vilhousie Kuotsu clinched the top position. Neikholie Nakhro was placed second, followed by Mhalielhoukho Kuotsu in third position and Keviholie Dolie in fourth.
The annual meet witnessed participation from young wrestlers of the village and was aimed at promoting traditional wrestling and encouraging youth participation in sports.
