Nagaland: National road safety month observed

DIMAPUR

Longleng District Observed National Road Safety Month under the theme “Let the new year begin with safety, kindness and responsible living” on January 19 at DPDB hall Longleng. The programme was chaired by deputy commissioner, Longleng W. Manpai Phom.
According to a DIPR report, in his address, Phom informed the gathering that a special camp will be held in the month of February coordinating with the RTO Mokokchung. He also launched a booklet on road safety and distributed helmets to the bikers of Longleng.
The enforcement team led by Road Safety Enforcement Inspector (RSEI), RTO office Mokokchung, Temsulong, briefly highlighted the gathering on road safety. He also distributed a booklet on road safety to all the participants.
