Nagaland: NBHM signs MoU with ICICI Foundation for inclusive growth

Nagaland Bee Keeping & Honey Mission (NBHM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with ICICI Foundation for supporting rural development and inclusive growth on February 28, 2026, at the NBHM office, Chümoukedima.
According to a DIPR report, the MoU was signed in the presence of Sentiwapang Aier, secretary to the chief minister and team leader NBHM, along with Pumgouthing Tunzalion, zonal head ICICI Foundation, Remei Diphung, development officer ICICI Foundation, and Rajkumar Bartha, branch manager, Purana Bazaar branch.
The objective of the project is to promote Nagaland honey through the expansion and upgradation of the honey processing plant. Officials stated that the initiative will foster growth and development while creating forward market linkages for beekeepers across the state.
