Nagaland: NE reels under cold wave

DIMAPUR, JAN 7 (NPN)

A persistent cold wave across North East has disrupted normal life, prompting several states to temporarily close schools or revise timings to protect students from plunging temperatures. India Meteorological Department has issued an alert warning that dense mist and fog are likely to persist during morning hours across northwest, central, eastern and northeastern parts of the country over the next four to five days, affecting visibility and daily activities.
