In a partial modification of the travel advisories issued on September 5 and September 12, 2024, Deputy Commissioner Chümoukedima has announced the reopening of NH-29 at the Tseidukhru range (Pagla Pahar) stretch between Chathe Bridge (Patkai junction) and New Chümoukedima Village for all traffic.
As per the advisory, vehicle movement along this route will be regulated in one-way traffic at a time by the Traffic personnel. However, the Chümoukedima Town (Old Check Gate) to New Chümoukedima route via Old Chümoukedima Village will remain closed for all traffic from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. with effect from September 24, 2024, until further notice.
