Nagaland: NH-702A Zhekiye–Sukhai stretch closed till Mar 15

District administration Zunheboto has announced the temporary closure of a portion of NH-702A from Zhekiye village to Sukhai village owing to ongoing road construction works between Zhekiye and Tizu Bridge.
According to a travel advisory issued by Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Satakha, Chumlamo Humtsoe, the stretch will remain closed to all forms of vehicular movement with immediate effect till March 15, 2026, to ensure smooth and uninterrupted execution of the construction work.
In view of the closure, travellers have been advised to take the alternate Satakha–Xuivi–Sukhai route and vice versa during the period.
The administration has expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to the public and sought cooperation from commuters to facilitate timely completion of the project.
