The first Nienutsomi Connect 2025, an event acknowledging the community’s shared ancestry, heritage and bond, will be held on November 29 at 10 a.m. at Rikhuba Tu, Chesezu village under Phek district. According to the organising committee, senior legislator and former leader of the NPF Legislature Party, Kuzholuzo (Azo) Nienu, will attend the event as the session speaker.
During the programme, introductory notes will be delivered by Venuzo, chairman of the Nienutsomi Welfare Organisation (NWO), while short speeches will be presented by Ariyi, advisor NWO; Shievotso, advisor NWO; Sanuzo, director, Department of Agriculture Nagaland; Dr. Vasapra, project coordinator, Planning and Transformation Department Nagaland; Husucho; Thepukrayi; Dr. Cthitu, EAC Chozuba; Mulenyi, VCC Chesezu; Nasa and others. Vetacho, convenor of the research committee, NWO, will present the general secretary’s report and lead the adoption of resolutions, while Shevohu, convenor of the Finance Committee, NWO, will present financial reports.
