The office of Network of Nagaland Drugs and AIDS organization (NNagaDAO) has expressed condolence on the demise of Dr. Joyce Z Angami, a prominent social worker and a compassionate physician.
A press release by NNagaDAO stated that Dr Joyce was well regarded for numerous contribution she made in response to HIV/AIDS, drug use disorder, child care and health services in the state.
It stated that at NNagaDAO, her contributions were immense and foundational, adding that she was a guiding force whose wisdom, empathy, and vision shaped the mission and inspired continued efforts.
“Dr. Joyce’s lifelong dedicated work in the fields of drug use disorder and HIV programs in Nagaland transformed countless lives and strengthened systems of support for those most in need. Her guidance, advocacy, tireless and charitable service brought hope to individuals and families facing some of the most difficult circumstances”, the release stated, adding that in her demise, the state has lost a dynamic social worker, a remarkable healer, advocate, and mentor.
The condolence message stated that her committed spirit of service would continue to guide the organization as it carries forward the work she contributed with such dedication.
