NNC/FGN and Naga National Council (Parent body) have extended Christmas and New Year greetings to the people of Nagaland and the Christian community.
In his message, Kedahge, Zhopra Vero of NNC/FGN reminded that in a world often filled with chaos and uncertainty, Christmas is a time to pause and reflect on the hope found in Christ. He described Christ as the Prince of Peace, whose light that broke into the darkness on the night of His birth continues to guide people today, shining in their darkest hours. Vero prayed that the coming year be filled with blessings, guidance, and the unwavering presence of Christ.
Meanwhile, the Naga National Council (Parent body), through its information and publicity wing, extended greetings to all the people of the “Naga Homeland” and the Christian community of the North East. The message expressed joy in welcoming the birth of Jesus Christ, the Prince of Peace, and sought His abundant blessings upon every individual and family.
The NNC wished that Christmas and the New Year 2026 be marked by peace, tranquillity, prosperity, and progress for Nagaland and the entire region. It further prayed that the Naga people may stand united in peace and harmony, while expressing hope that the coming year would witness meaningful steps toward the recognition of Naga sovereignty.
