The NPF unit of both Phek and Mon districts held its oath taking and induction program on December 13 and 16 respectively.
Phek: The Naga People’s Front (NPF) Phek Division conducted its oath taking ceremony for the newly appointed Assembly Constituencies Office Bearer and frontal (youth, women & farmers wing) on December 13 for 16th Pfutsero, 17th Chizami, 18th Chozuba and 19th Phek Assembly Constituencies at TT Hall Pfutsero Town.
Delivering short speech, vice president COB NPF, K. Puro, requested all the Assembly Constituency leaders to take the party oath loyally and be commitment to the party, noting that every party member should be treated equally.
Second oath-taking ceremony for the division office bearers & frontal (youth, women & famers) was also held during the program, administered by Central Youth Wing NPF, working president, Supoyi Vezhu,
NPF Phek division president, Chubutse Naro, administered the oath for the assembly constituencies.
The programme was chaired by NPF Phek division, vice president, Vedunyi Khesoh, invocation by Rev. Dr. T. Kapfo, welcome speech by NPF Phek division, working president, Api Vadeo and vote of thanks was proposed by NPF Phek division, vice president, Kesilo.
Mon: The Naga People’s Front (NPF) Mon Division conducted its oath taking ceremony and induction program on December 16 at the NPF Mon Division Conference Hall.
In a press release by general secretary (admin), Phoe Konyak stated that the oath taking of newly appointed division office bearers and A/C Presidents was administered by general secretary (COB), Tongang, followed by a dedicatory prayer from district chaplain, Rev. Yeangphong.
Short speeches were offered by vice president (COB) & Co-convener, Search Committee, Sheakpong, general secretary (COB), Chingao, and vice president & mon division in-charge (COB), H Shamlau Konyak.
In his speech, H. Shamlau Konyak emphasised collective responsibility and organisational discipline, noting that the NPF continues to move forward under the leadership of chief minister and president of NPF, Dr. Neiphiu Rio whose farsighted leadership has consistently guided the party towards stability, development and people-centric governance. He also acknowledged the efforts of MLA & secretary general of NPF, Achumbemo Kikon, for his tireless work in strengthening the party.
The program, chaired by general secretary (COB), Akang, opening prayer by secretary (COB), Ngamtong, welcome speech by NPF mon division, president, S. Chingyem Konyak and the vote of thanks by secretary (COB), Tingtong.
