The NPF Pughoboto division held its oath-taking and installation cum Advent Christmas programme on December 15 at Pughoboto Town Hall.
NPF senior vice president and COB-in-charge Pughoboto AC, Anungba Imsong, administered the oath to office bearers from the parent body, women wing, youth wing, and farmers wing.
Delivering the welcome address, NPF Pughoboto division president Viyikhu Q. Wotsa thanked the central leadership led by chief minister Neiphiu Rio and NPF secretary general Achumbemo Kikon, noting the party’s growth under their guidance.
Stating that the NPF party is deeply rooted in Naga history, senior VP and COB-in-charge of Pughoboto Division, Anungba Imsong, urged the gathering to give their full support to the dynamic, young and capable leadership of Y Vikheho Swu. He further urged the gathering to work towards enhancing development in the region.
Former minister and president of the NPF central farmers wing, Y Vikheho Swu, stated ‘we are back to where we belong’, and added that the NPF party has brought the Naga people thus far and will continue to guide the Naga people forward.
He urged the gathering to engage with voters, listen to the public, and spread awareness of the government’s developmental initiatives.
