NSCN/GPRN-K of Michael has informed that Kelvin Mech of Kachari Affairs has been terminated on grounds of indiscipline and misappropriation of government funds.
In a press release, the group stated that after a thorough review, it was determined that Kelvin Mech’s conduct was detrimental, noting that he was a habitual offender who continued with misconduct despite rehabilitation efforts. His actions, it said, were inconsistent with the organisation’s values and code of conduct.
The government was therefore compelled to issue the termination order in the greater interest of the land. It further cautioned that anyone sheltering such defectors would be placing their principles in peril.
