NSCN (I-M) President Q. Tuccu and the Tatar Hoho on Friday reaffirmed commitment to unity and the centrality of the Framework Agreement (FA) in the ongoing Naga political process. Addressing the Tatar Hoho Winter Session at CHQ, Hebron, Tuccu urged the Tatar Hoho and government to adapt to changing times, take bold decisions, and uphold all rules and regulations, including within the Naga Army.
He stressed that those in positions of responsibility must perform their duties diligently, warning that laxity would not be tolerated under public scrutiny.
He called on the NSCN to defend Naga history, identity, and sovereignty against attempts to weaken political dialogue with the Indian government. Tuccu also criticised the Forum for Naga Reconciliation (FNR) for failing to foster trust among Naga factions, warning against pseudo-intellectuals undermining the cause of genuine freedom fighters.

In another statement, the Tatar Hoho (TH) reacted to what it described as persistent attempts by “enemies and false political teachers” to create dissension among the Nagas, reaffirming its position on the Naga national political issue. TH also emphasized that the FA remains the sole agreement between the Indian government and the Naga people it represents. Addressing the issue of forming a “common platform”, the Hoho questioned the existence of any other entity besides NSCN.
It reaffirmed complete trust in the Framework Agreement as the only basis for dialogue on the Indo-Naga political issue.
The statement also criticised the FNR’s call for action “beyond the Framework Agreement,” calling it an attempt to undermine and “murder” the historic accord.
