The Naga Students’ Federation (NSF) has extended warm greetings and hearty congratulations to the Kohima Press Club (KPC) on the occasion of its 25th anniversary, celebrated on January 20, 2026, under the theme “Traversing 25 Years of Storytelling: Inspiring the Future”.
In a message, NSF president Mteisuding Heraang and general secretary Kenilo Kent said that over the past two and a half decades, Kohima Press Club has played a pivotal role in strengthening journalism and upholding the principles of a free, responsible and vibrant press in Nagaland. It noted that KPC has consistently chronicled the socio-political journey of the region while giving voice to the aspirations and concerns of the people, remaining committed to truthful, ethical and impactful storytelling.
The federation said the silver jubilee theme reflects the Club’s remarkable journey, honouring its legacy of dedicated journalism while inspiring the next generation of media professionals.
It added that in an era of rapid technological changes and evolving media landscapes, KPC’s emphasis on credibility, integrity and public service continues to serve as a guiding light for aspiring journalists.
NSF said the milestone stands as a testament to the collective efforts of past and present members, leadership and supporters of KPC, whose dedication has ensured that journalism in the region continues to inform, educate and empower society.
On the occasion, NSF conveyed its best wishes to KPC for continued success in upholding press freedom, nurturing young talent and contributing meaningfully to democratic discourse in the years ahead.
