A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed on October 23 between Nagaland State Rural Livelihood Mission (NSRLM) and School for Social Entrepreneurs (SSE) India to develop a State Mission-owned web portal aimed at promoting products and services of Self Help Groups (SHGs) through a community-driven online marketing platform.
According to a press release issued by NSRLM, the initiative seeks to expand market reach and enhance visibility of SHG products by creating an e-commerce site exclusively for SHGs promoted under NSRLM.
SSE India, in coordination with NSRLM, will be responsible for the initiation, design, content preparation, core development, integration, security and compliance, training, and digital marketing of SHG products once the portal becomes operational.
The project period will run from October 2025 to September 2026, with technical support extended till October 2027. SSE will also undertake regular monitoring through reviews and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
The MoU was signed by joint secretary, RD and Mission Director, NSRLM, Moa Sangtam, and CEO of SSE India, Shallbh Mittal.
