Nagaland: NTPRADAO flays sexual exploitation of minors by pastor

Nagaland Transparency, Public Rights Advocacy and Direct Action Organisation (NTPRADAO) has condemned the alleged “heinous sexual exploitation of minors (boys)” by the then senior pastor of Father’s House Church, Robert Kikon.

NTPRADAO working president, Phamching Konyak and secretary general, Chenithung Lotha said the “outrageous public exposure has bewildered and shocked the entire Naga community in disbelief for its unprecedented acts if it is true”, and appealed to everyone to stand hand-in-hand with the exploited victims and their families.

They appreciated Social Welfare Department’s Child Welfare Committee in seriously pursuing the matter by filing an FIR and also lauded Dimapur Police Commissioner and team for prompt support.

Acknowledging that victim need caring and loving counseling and spiritual/emotional support, NTPRADAO appealed to the people to refrain from issuing unwarranted and controversial statements in this most sensitive case, and called for an unbiased investigation to bring the culprit to justice.
