Old Ministers Hill Council (OMHC) has expressed shock and outrage over the brutal murder of local woman, a resident of Old Ministers Hill (Panchayat Sector), Kohima, on the night of October 24, 2025.
In a press release, Old Ministers Hill Council (OMHC) chairman stated that the heinous act of taking her life and dumping the body near a ring well within the house complex has deeply disturbed the peace and security of the entire colony.
Strongly condemning “this barbaric and inhuman act” committed within the colony, the council has urged the competent authority to initiate a thorough investigation into the matter at the earliest.
Further, OMHC demanded that the those involved be brought to justice and award the highest degree of punishment as per the law, to ensure such acts never recur in the future.
Meanwhile, the council has conveyed condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that Almighty God grant them strength and comfort in this time of immense grief.
