Nagaland Online portal for professions tax registration

In a move to facilitate ease of doing business in the State, the Commissioner of Taxes has informed that the State Taxes Department, Nagaland, has developed an application software for the registration and payment of Professions Tax.
The software was rolled out with effect from October 1, 2025, and is now accessible through the department’s official website: www.nagalandtax.nic.in.
All individuals liable for registration and payment of Professions Tax have been directed to get themselves registered or enrolled, as applicable. The website provides a step-by-step process flow for registration and enrolment, classification of persons, applicable tax rates, and helpdesk support for guidance.
