Nagaland participates in 7th Helicopter & Small Aircraft Summit 2025 in Pune

Nagaland was represented at the 7th Helicopter & Small Aircraft Summit 2025 held in Pune, Maharashtra on June 24. The summit was organized by the Ministry of Civil Aviation in collaboration with the Government of Maharashtra, Pawan Hans, and the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI).
According to a DIPR report, Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Transport Department, Ababe Myingthungo Ezung, attended the summit on behalf of the Nagaland government. The gathering aimed to strengthen regional connectivity and explore new avenues in air mobility, particularly in remote and underserved regions.
The summit was graced by Union Minister of Civil Aviation, Ram Mohan Naidu Kinjarapu, as chief guest, and Minister of State for Civil Aviation, Murlidhar Mohol, as Guest of honour. Key stakeholders from across the aviation sector participated in discussions on infrastructure development, regulatory support, and innovation in the helicopter and small aircraft segment.
