Public Forum Pungro Sub-Division (PFPSD), Kiphire district, has expressed serious concern over the recent transfer of Paogougin Khongsai, Field Officer (FO)of SBI, Pungro branch, without a reliever.
In a statement, PFPSD president, Kongsu and general secretary, Khonyamong, stated that Khongsai, who was posted to the branch in August 2025, had significantly improved banking services. However, PFPSD said his sudden transfer on November 24, 2025, without a reliever, has caused serious disruption in operations. PFPSD therefore appealed to the SBI to reconsider the transfer order and ensure either the retention of Khongsai at Pungro branch or the urgent posting of a competent reliever.
