Nagaland: Pfütseromi Nölhi Mehpö held at Phek

DIMAPUR

Pfütseromi village in Phek celebrated the historic two-day long “Pfütseromi Nölhi Mehpö” on December 29 and 30, at Local Ground Pfütseromi, under the theme “Progress through re-dedication”.
MLA Dr. Neisatuo Mero, in his address on December 30, emphasized on fostering village unity, and also dwelled on the importance of protection of public properties and Government offices, adding that the general public must at all times ensure its effectiveness.
He also highlighted on Pfütseromi Students’ Union motto, “I netho rhulo, I we rhulode” translated into English as, “Respect your village and you will be respected”.
Short speeches were also delivered by Retd. commissioner & secretary, Wepretso Mero, Retd, IGP, Zekotso Mero, and president Mission International, Rev. Dr. Kenny Kapfo.
