Nagaland: Phek Students’ Union 67th general session from Jan 2

DIMAPUR

The Phek Students’ Union (PSU) will hold its 67th general session-cum-cultural dance competition from January 2 to 3, 2026 at the GHS Auditorium Hall, Phek village, under the theme “Beyond Mediocrity.”
The inaugural session will feature superintendent of police Phek, Dr. Pritpaul Kaur, IPS, as speaker. Naga People’s Front, general secretary COB, Dr. Kuvezochi Hoshi, will also attend the sessions as cultural guest, while EAC Phek HQ, W. Balong Pom and Capital College of Higher Education, Kohima, principal, Dr. Zokho Venuh, will address the literary and valedictory sessions respectively.
Greetings will be shared by Phekmi Collegiate Forum, president, Veshe Chizo, during the inaugural session, while, Women VDB Secretary of Phek Village, Huvekholii Keyho, will exhort the gathering during the literary session, which will include a spelling bee, extempore speech, and quiz.
During the cultural session, Phek Village Council, chairman, Chivozo Soho will exhort the gathering. The session will feature a Folk Dance Competition for Lt. Huvekhuyi Soho Memorial Trophy, Quartet (Indigenous) and Duet (Indigenous).
The PSU Night on January 3 will showcase guest artists Ludoveyi Vero (Ado), Zhozo Chizo, and Nukuto Vadeo.
The PSU has extended invitations to all frontal leaders and well-wishers to attend and grace the session.
