The 1st social gathering for Phezoucha Rhüba (Colony) Kohima was held at 4th NAP Ground in Phezoucha on November 15 organised by Phezoucha Rhüba Council.
Gracing the event as special guest Dr. Kekhrielhoulie Yhome, advisor for School Education and SCERT, highlighted that the colony has a population of 2,204 residents with 1,081 households, representing diverse backgrounds. He expressed joy at witnessing people coming together in unity and harmony.
He hoped the people will continue to support each other and carry forward and show good example to other colonies. Phezoucha Rhüba president Kekhrielelie Tsiekha emphasized that people from diverse backgrounds have come together to form this colony.
He highlighted that it was one of the largest colonies in Kohima, where residents from various tribes, villages, and districts collaborate in friendship.
Tsiekha noted that the gathering offers a chance to strengthen connections, promoting unity and a common vision for a brighter future.
The event began with a blessing from pastor Bendangtemsü of the New Capital Baptist Church in Phezoucha. The event also witnessed penalty shootout and Tug of War both men and women and lucky draw.
